Blake Hollow Barn

About

Inside the barn

How the Blake Hollow Barn came to be the beautiful venue it is today.

In 2018, Adam and Cassie had an idea, “Why not get married in the barn at Cassie’s parent’s farm?” Shortly after the family gathered and discussed the potential of the barn. “Through the rubble we saw what could be, what would be.” Soon after that, the restoration began. The family rallied as they undertook the painstaking process of renovating the once dilapidated barn on their property. Cleaning out the old hay, dust and dirt was just the start of the transformation. Conrad used reclaimed materials from other area barns to maintain the rustic integrity and charm of the decades old structure while several area professionals worked on building a dance floor and created the safe and functional second-floor loft.

All of the hard work and all of the long nights were completely worth it when in 2018, Wendy and Conrad hosted their first wedding to their daughter Cassie with a little over 200 people in attendance. It was a day to remember! Then in 2019, an expansion was added providing more space, newly constructed bathrooms, an outdoor deck and ceremony area, and a grain bin that serves as a bar and firepit area. Rustic chandeliers, wine barrel cocktail tables, and mismatched vintage couches also add a touch of intimacy on the interior. Now the barn can accommodate 400 people for a variety of events. Providing fun, relaxing areas that allow guests to enjoy the countryside while celebrating and making memories is what the space is all about.

Blake Hollow Barn is located near Bloomington, WI where it overlooks rolling land, where you will often see the families beef cattle and several horses grazing. The barn is modern and historic with all of the rustic charm to create the perfect day for your important day. Come check us out!
